Hester Street Fair Brings Vintage Duds, Delicious Pastries to the Seaport

This month, a new season of the Hester Street Fair starts at the Seaport (89 South St., between piers 16 and 17), where several vendors will be stocked up with baked goods and other hand-selected items soundtracked to all-day live DJs spinning vinyl. Tired of your boyfriend wearing the same J. Crew button-down? Here’s your chance to trick him into thinking he picked out a different one all by himself!  

On Saturday, April 22 and Sunday, April 23, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Fulathela and Xpizza will be pumping in beats while shoppers grab funky sustainable clothing and pieces of pop art. Though food vendors haven’t been announced yet, you can surely count on all sorts of sweet and savory treats. Here’re the dates and themes for May and June: 

• Saturday, May 13 is the made-in-NYC popup “classic” market
• Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28, Xpizza returns for Memorial Day weekend.
• Saturday, June 3 is the “Girl Power” market, filled with women-owned vendors and music provided by HD & Friends
• Saturday, June 24, celebrates Pride month with a queer-owned market and music by DJ Freedem
