Here’s an Uncomplicated Reason to Pay a Visit to Simply Wine

Last we checked on the friendly crew at Simply Wine (55 Liberty St.) was during the height of the pandemic, when they were supplying the neighborhood with small-batch vinos and liquor to last through all the Netflix-and-chill sessions until vaccines were ready. Now, the highly curated spirits boutique is embracing spring with free tastings.

To kick off the season, Simply Wine will host in-store events twice weekly from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. — Thursdays for liquor and Fridays for oenophiles. This Friday, for example, is all about rosés, and each tasting will be accompanied by product reps who live to share their knowledge.

And if you can’t make it to the store for a little sip-and-chat to help you decide your next bottle, remember: Simply Wine guarantees free one-hour neighborhood deliveries from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
