The Greenmarket At The Oculus Is Back Just In Time For Fall

This week, the Greenmarket at the Oculus returns! Every Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to  5 p.m., the beloved outdoor market at the corner of Church and Fulton streets will have fresh produce and other goodies at the ready for Lower Manhattanites interested in fruit straight from the orchards, along with amazing meats and cheeses right off the farm.

Francesca’s Bakery Breads from Middlesex County in neighboring New Jersey, will also show up with savory treats, as will Meredith’s Bakery from upstate’s Ulster County.

For fans of fancy libations, you’ll be able to procure wares from 1857 Spirits Handcrafted potato vodka, which hails from Schoharie County, New York.

Earlier this year, the greenmarkets at Tribeca and Bowling Green reopened to provide a spot of green during a hot, hot summer. Hopefully this third market will bring some cooler temps in addition to its bevy of tasty items.

And an FYI to those who bring Health Bucks to the greenmarkets and farmers markets across the city: For every $2 spent in SNAP/EBT/P-EBT, you’ll receive a bonus $2 in Health Bucks up to $10 per day.

And in keeping with our green theme, there are no plastic bags here. Please bring your own reusable totes.
