Description:

Built in the 1760s, St. Paul's is Manhattan's oldest public building in continuous use, and its only pre-Revolutionary church. 18th century regulars included George Washington, who walked here from Federal Hall to attend a service of thanksgiving following his first inauguration. Look for his private pew.
