‘I Do’ Downtown

Planning a wedding? We’re here to assist you all the way to the altar.

Is there anything better than a wedding? Whether you’re a bride or groom, guest or lurker on Instagram, it’s always a joy to celebrate two people joining together in matrimony. And if you’re planning to get married or even just engaged, Lower Manhattan is a prime destination for your special day.

Downtown has everything you need for your celebration, all located in one square mile. The neighborhood is home to plenty of traditional and unconventional venues (have you considered getting married on a historic tall ship?) along with many retailers and vendors to support your creative vision. With 44 hotels downtown, there are tons of accommodation options for your out-of-town guests, plus your local friends and family can easily get here via subway or ferry (or cab it if you’re wearing uncomfortable heels). Not to mention that with icons like the Brooklyn Bridge, City Hall Park, One World Trade and the New York Harbor backdropping your celebration, your wedding photos are guaranteed to be glorious. And if you’d like to get hitched without the big party, we’re home to the Office of the City Clerk, where you and your partner can have a True New Yorker courthouse wedding, then celebrate over a festive lunch downtown.

If you’re in the midst of planning a downtown wedding — or are just looking for some inspo for the future — “I Do” Downtown has everything you need to tie the knot in style. Whether you’re looking for help finding a ring, setting a budget, booking a venue or filling out your City Hall paperwork, we’re here to assist you all the way to the altar.
