Join the editors, contributors, and special guests to celebrate the launch of Amulet — a new literary magazine of religion, spirituality and mysticism for seekers and skeptics alike. In an age of global turmoil, technological consolidation and dwindling religious observance, how do we approach questions of faith and community? Can we get closer to God — whatever that might mean to an individual, to a society — through the reading and writing of literature? The editors of Amulet, along with contributor Simon Critchley, will discuss these questions and more. Attendees are encouraged to bring thorny questions of their own for the panel, and to stick around afterwards for a drink in the wine bar downstairs.
