SUMMARY:For All People From All Roads - Art as Communal Space
DESCRIPTION:Join Jordan Issac for a look at the power of public art. Explore works by Siah Armajani\, Scott Burton\, and James Yaya Hough. With populist idealism\, familiar references\, and imaginative use of sculptures\, mosaic\, poetry\, history\, and design\, their art transforms plazas into free museums and vibrant examples of America’s complex relationship to liberty and justice from the 1980’s to the present.
