SUMMARY:Watch Night
DESCRIPTION:A PAC NYC world premiere from the artistic team of Tony Award-winning choreographer / dancer / director / writer Bill T. Jones’ dynamic staging to create an exploration of justice and forgiveness in the face of deadly rage.

SUMMARY:Spring Awakening
DESCRIPTION:First performed under heavy censorship in Germany in 1906\, Spring Awakening closed after one night in New York in 1917 amid public outrage and charges of obscenity. The play’s content was radical indeed: teenage sex\, suicide\, abortion\, masturbation\, sadomasochism. The story traces the dawning sexual awareness of four teenagers\, Melchior\, Moritz\, Wendla\, and Hansy\, who\, in their painfully funny contradictions—they are at once too innocent and not remotely innocent at all—remain fresh and unsettling even in our own sex-saturated culture.

SUMMARY:Friday Art Talk: David Hammons
DESCRIPTION:Join art historian and lecturer Sylvia Laudien-Meo for an illustrated presentation via Zoom in a group setting. Today\, learn about David Hammons. Since the 1960’s Hammons’ art explores and protests complexities of life and its impact on African Americans. Often depicting pop culture iconography and including found objects\, he resists the limitations of galleries in favor of public art and performance. “Days End” in Chelsea references the extinct Hudson River Piers\, their significance for the LGBTQ community\, and previous work by Gordon Matta-Clark\, which investigates urban development and its impact on existing communities.
