DESCRIPTION:Tim and Jake are Deaf roommates sharing an apartment in the city—but not much else. They’re polar opposites\, each with very different views on what it means to be Deaf in a hearing world. When it comes to taking out the trash\, they spiral into a comic and insightful examination of their personal garbage and their perceptions of each other’s lives. Performed almost exclusively in ASL (American Sign Language)\, Trash employs surprising theatrical devices that allow all audiences to understand the play (and each other) in profoundly new ways.

DESCRIPTION:Mar 8 – Mar 21\, 2026\nProfessional Women Photographers (PWP) invites women and non-binary artists to submit cell phone photographs for Small Works\, a juried fundraiser exhibition presented in celebration of PWP’s 50th Anniversary. \nCurated by Claudia Sohrens\, Small Works embraces phoneography as an accessible and contemporary practice\, exploring how everyday acts of seeing can become forms of collective storytelling shaped by personal\, social\, political\, and environmental conditions. \nThis exhibition also serves as a fundraiser for the PWP 50th Anniversary Documentary\, a film project dedicated to preserving and amplifying the history\, impact\, and voices of women in photography. \nOpen worldwide to women and non-binary photographers\, age 18 and older. \nSubmission Fee\n$10 — PWP Members\n$10 — Student\n$20 — Non-Members \nSelected works will be exhibited in a grid format at The Breezeway at BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center in New York City from March 8–21\, 2026.
