DESCRIPTION:Home to ShowBox\, the first improv theater in a New York City playground\, Playscape is New York’s destination for arts\, exploration\, and play. This weekend\, Playscape Performs comes to a close with Hobey Ford’s celebrated show “ANIMALIA” and a special presentation by Good Hearted Entertainment. Together with his team of adorable “Foamies\,” Hobey Ford makes animals of all sorts emerge in movement and music to form a full-on puppet ballet. Watch as the habits and habitats of the world’s mightiest beasts and tiniest bugs come into furry focus right before your eyes. “Sock Monkey Circus” by Good Hearted Entertainment is a full circus performed in miniature! This performance features the magical talents of the host “Funny Honey” and her clever monkeys\, who are trained to juggle\, dance\, and swing on a flying trapeze! At the south end of Battery Park.

SUMMARY:9/11 Memorial and Museum Community Day
DESCRIPTION:During this time\, the 9/11 Memorial Museum will be reserved exclusively for 9/11 and 2/26/1993 family members\, family members of individuals who are sick or who have died from 9/11-related illnesses and injuries\, 9/11 rescue and recovery workers\, first responders\, 9/11 and 1993 survivors\, active-duty military and veterans\, lower Manhattan residents and business owners\, and active and retired flight crew members. Advanced reservations are strongly encouraged. This year’s Community Day will feature an information session presented by the World Trade Center Health Program and the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund. Participants are encouraged to RSVP at RSVP@911memorial.org with your name and number of expected guests. Other partner organizations sharing resources and information will include Crisis Response Canines\, First Responders Children’s Foundation\, Mount Sinai Clinical Center of Excellence WTC Health Program\, and the 9/11 Memorial Museum Collections department.
