Celebrate 15 years of Earth Matter at their anniversary party! Held at LMCC’s Arts Center at Governors Island, this celebration will feature live music from Chico Alverez and Mafimba, lots of dancing, a participatory re-use auction, special food and drink, and more fun.
The Moth Community StorySLAM is a noncompetitive, open-mic storytelling event in which anyone can share a 5 min story on the night’s theme. Entry is free – come to enjoy the show or for the chance to put your name in the hat to tell a true, personal story, live without notes!

Come prepared for enthusiastic instruction, a little strength training and a lot of fun. Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment: weights, water bottle, hand towel etc. Proof of vaccination required.
