The Corkery, a Must-Visit for Any Wine Lover

The Corkery stocks some of the rarest wines in New York. The small business made it through the pandemic by offering free one-hour delivery anywhere downtown — and plenty of New Yorkers are still taking advantage of this service.

Now, the Corkery has relaunched its weekly Friday wine tastings (4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.) and is welcoming its clientele back to the storefront.

Pre-pandemic, the Corkery was a popular spot for Wall Street workers. It was typical for managers to come into the shop with their teams, buying every employee a bottle of their choice in celebration of closing a multi-million dollar deal. As workers return to their downtown offices, these celebratory rituals are making their own return, which is good news for this neighborhood gem’s business.

Check out their unique selection at 15 Bridge Street any day of the week, or stop by Fridays 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. to sample some incredible fine wines. Note that they also stock spirits.
