Overview
The bronze sculpture "Ape & Cat (at the Dance)" depicts an unusual couple dancing cheek to cheek. In 1993, artist Jim Dine designed both figures with human-like silhouettes, but with the heads of an ape and a cat as part of a series inspired by the Henry James story "The Madonna of the Future."
