Zoom In and Da Claudio Will Teach You How to Make Valentine’s Day Dinner

The next installment in the Downtown Alliance’s “Dine Around Downtown: Cooking at Home Edition” comes Thursday, February 10, when proprietor Claudio Marini and Executive Chef David Sandoval of Da Claudio Ristorante (21 Ann Street) show participants how to make a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner, featuring Fusilli Avellinesi with lamb ragu, saffron cream and micro greens.

As an added treat, Da Claudio will also demonstrate how to make your own homemade pasta from scratch! The virtual tutorial is free and encourages donations to the Da Claudio’s preferred food-security charity God’s Love We Deliver.

“Dine Around Downtown: Cooking at Home Edition” is hosted by award-winning chef Rocco DiSpirito and zooms into the kitchens of Lower Manhattan, where chefs share recipes and tips on everything from complex gastronomic delights to go-to comfort foods. Register now to reserve a space for the upcoming Da Claudio episode.

The series launched in June 2020 with America’s first restaurant Delmonico’s, followed by a number of dining rooms including Seamore’s, Bar Room at the Beekman, Malibu Farm and Chinah. All previous episodes are available on YouTube.
