Call for Volunteers to Partake in the Great Broadway Sweep

Roll up your sleeves and get to know your neighbors during the Great Broadway Sweep, the upcoming citywide cleanup event hosted by the Sanitation Foundation and We Love NYC. Residents throughout several neighborhoods in the Manhattan borough are encouraged to volunteer a couple hours of their time to tidy up the world’s most famous thoroughfare (you guessed it: Broadway). You can register here.

Downtown residents interested in participating in the City Hall area cleanup should meet at the intersection of Chambers and Centre streets on Monday, September 18 at 10 a.m. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing and close-toe shoes. Organizers also recommend that you bring water bottles, sunscreen and hats. Cleanup equipment will be provided.

The sweep runs until noon.
