Laurence Fishburne Takes the Stage in “Like They Do in the Movies” at PAC NYC

PAC NYC’s inaugural year is well underway, and one of their signature shows starts this weekend. Tony Award winner, Emmy Award winner, and Oscar nominee Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix, Mystic River, John Wick) is taking on an entirely new role as both the star and the playwright of “Like They Do in the Movies.” Laurence says the over two-hour one-person show is about, “The stories and lies people have told me. And that I have told myself.” 

Directed by Leonard Foglia, “Like They Do in the Movies” debuts on Sunday, March 10 and runs through March 31, 2024. A special post-show discussion between Fishburne and actor, writer and teacher Anna Deavere Smith will be held on March 22. Buy tickets for any of the performances here.
