It’s Time to Register for the 9/11 Memorial’s Annual 5K

Run or walk in commemoration of the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11 with the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, which is hosting its 12th annual 5K run/walk on April 28.

Whether or not you’re a running enthusiast, the race is a lovely event for participants (and with 100 percent of dollars raised supporting the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, a good cause!). It kicks off near Brookfield Place and winds along the waterfront esplanade at Battery Park, offering up views of One World Trade Center, the Hudson River and the Statue of Liberty. The race will conclude on Greenwich Street adjacent to the 9/11 Memorial, giving folks space for some quiet contemplation.

To register, visit the race’s official website. For more details, reach out to [email protected].
