Meet the Cast and Crew of “Dreamscape,” Now Filming in Lower Manhattan
Production is now underway on “Dreamscape,” the Neymarc Brothers’ spectacular short for the Alliance’s Filmmaker in Chief campaign. The short film follows 25-year-old Gabriela, a dancer who recently lost her brother, Raphael, as “she battles grief while trying to reach a life-changing audition, her gateway to fulfilling her dream of becoming a professional dancer in New York City,” according to the film synopsis. The Neymarc Brothers
Born in the U.S.and raised in Paris, France, the Neymarc Brothers are film writers and directors celebrated for their dynamic and cinematic visual storytelling. Their first TV commercial aired during the Super Bowl (featuring John Stamos), garnering over 100 million views. Their first short film, “Happy Valentine’s Day,” won two Webby Awards, received a Vimeo Staff Pick recognition and was shortlisted for a Cannes Lion in Film Craft.
They’ve since directed multiple award-winning TV commercials, brand films, and are the filmmakers behind the immersive theatrical experiences at Summit One Vanderbilt in NYC and View Boston Observatory in Boston. They are currently in production of their short “Dreamscape” as Lower Manhattan’s Filmmakers-in-Chief, and are in development of their first two feature films, “Timeless” and “Memo Inc.”
Grecia Tovled (Lead Actress)
Born in Mexico, Grecia Tovled is a promising actress, dancer and model who began her artistic journey as a child. Trained at the renowned Centro de Educación Artística (CEA Televisa), as well as in cinematography at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute (LSTFI) and Construyendo Actores (COA), Tovled has worked in theater, television and is now making her way into film, as well as participating in prestigious dance programs. An admirer of talents like Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett and Adam Driver, she is committed to making her mark in the art world while continuing to explore new opportunities and focusing on her personal and professional growth.
Andres Delgado (Lead Actor)
Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, Andres Delgado knew at an early age what he wanted to do and since then he has been preparing for it. A graduate of the HB Studio NYC, his most recent film is “Without Blood,” starring Salma Hayek and Demián Bichir and directed by Angelina Jolie. His other film credits include the feature film “City of Dreams,” with Jason Patrick, Alfredo Castro and Adriana Paz, as well as “Cosas Imposibles,” directed by Ernesto Contreas, which earned him an Ariel Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor in 2022. Andres also appeared in “No Man’s Land” opposite Andie MacDowell, Frank Grillo and Jorge A. Jiménez. Select television credits include the Amazon original series, “An Unknown Enemy,” directed by Gabriel Ripstein, the HBO original series “Sierra Madre,” “Pedal to the Metal” for Netflix and, most recently, Hulu’s “La Maquina,” in which he appeared alongside stars Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal.
Tsai Hsi Hung (Choreographer)
Tsai Hsi Hung graduated from Taipei National University of the Arts in 2011, with a stint in Australia as an exchange student for the Dance at Queensland Technology University Dance Department, where she worked with the Australian Dance Theater, Tasdance, Expressions Dance Company and Chunky Move Dance Company Dancers. Her choreography has been commissioned and performed throughout the United States and Asia, and featured at companies such as Philadelphia’s BalletX, Ballet Hispanico NYC, Milwaukee Ballet, Arkansas Ballet and the Joffrey Ballet in Chicago. Residencies include Western Michigan University, Kennesaw University in Georgia and the National University of the Arts in Taiwan, where she was a guest teacher from 2022-2024. In June of 2018, the MET Dance Company performed Hung’s work “Io” for 12 dancers at the Miller Outdoor Theater in Houston, Texas. In 2019, Hung’s piece “Doublend” was performed at the NU VU Festival at the LaGuardia Performing Arts Center, Martha Graham Studio Theater and NYC Skirball Center, and her work Brushstroke 2×2 was performed at the 2020 APAP Peridance Showcase in New York. Hung’s choreography often features the interplay between dance and painting. In 2022, Hung created an original work inspired by the paintings of Hans Hofmann that was commissioned by the Battery Dance Company, NYC. In 2020, Hung received a Choreography Fellowship from the New Jersey Council on the Arts.
Hung was recently awarded the Jaffee and Hall Emerging Choreographer Award from Indiana’s Dance Kaleidoscope Company and will create a new work for the company in 2025. Hung will also premiere a new piece with the Joffrey Concert Group in New York City as part of their Creative Movers Choreography Commission. Later this year, Hung will create a new work for the South Chicago Dance Theatre.
Sarah Verstraete (Producer)
Born and raised in Paris, France, Sarah Verstraete was deeply influenced by film from a young age. After graduating high school, she chose to pursue another passion: becoming a lawyer, while also continuing to build her film career with the Neymarc Brothers. Throughout her years in law school in Paris, Sarah simultaneously worked with Neymarc Visuals, where she produced brand films and TV commercials for clients such as Nestea, Tropicana, American Red Cross and Toyota. In 2016, she moved to New York City to join the company full time. Since then, she has led complex productions and secured prestigious awards, including the Clio Awards, Webby Awards and Vimeo Staff Picks, among others.
María Belderrain (Costume Designer / Wardrobe Stylist)
Born in Argentina, María Belderrain’s work blends fashion, art, psychology and business. She began in strategy management at BCG, helping brands build effective go-to-market strategies, while also becoming a certified personal stylist with a focus on fashion psychology and behavior at the University of Arts in São Paulo, Brazil. She then joined Amazon Fashion, collaborating on key promotional campaigns. Her expertise spans creative direction, styling and business strategy, working on projects for Amazon Fashion, luxury jewelry brand Corsage and the Neymarc Brothers’ Choose Growth Anthem film. In 2024, María founded Artea, a creative strategy agency aimed at merging business strategy with creative work to empower creative businesses.
Christopher Dierks (Composer)
Christopher Dierks grew up in a very musical household in Hamburg, Germany and started learning instruments at the age of five — first violin, and then guitar and piano. He studied film scoring at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and has written hundreds of scores to commercials, TV programs and films since. His work often showcases a great attention to detail, sharp contrasts and an expert use of classical and electronic instrumentation.
