Sports Bar Pop-Up From the Dead Rabbit Team Is Now Open at Pier 17

Grab your mates and head to Pier 17 for footie and a pint: The Dead Rabbit Presents Joxer’s, a new sports bar pop-up from one of the world’s best bars, has made its debut at the Seaport. Taking its name from the Irish folk song, “Joxer Goes to Stuttgart,” this solidly Irish spot leans into the joys of winter sport, with everything from a toasty menu, sports memorabilia decor and, of course, large screen TVs showing all the big games.
Joxer’s offers a number of different sports fan experiences. The Tavern is where you’ll find a traditional sports bar vibe with a Dead Rabbit twist, with a lengthy list of cocktails sure to warm you up, like the Joxer’s Irish Coffee (Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey, hot coffee, salted caramel, whipped cream), the Zamboni Negroni (Sipsmith Gin, Campari, sweet vermouth, cold brew coffee, rhubarb) and the Bonus Points (pint of Guinness with a shot of Teeling small batch, cacao and cassis). Beers and wines are also on the menu, along with bar snacks and bone-sticking dishes like Guinness-glazed BBQ pork ribs and ham-and-cheese toasties.
For a more private experience, you can opt for the Cottages, which offer private sports den spaces, as well as the Bungalows, private heated glass enclosures that offer panoramic views of Lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge.
Sports enthusiasts will be delighted to discover that Joxer’s will show all the hits, including the NFL, NHL, NBA, English Premiere League, UEFA Champions League, Six Nations Rugby and college sports. And if you’d like to play some sports of your own, you can check out Pier 17’s skating rink, which is one of our favorite downtown winter offerings. Sláinte!
