The next installment in the Downtown Alliance’s “Dine Around Downtown: Cooking At Home” series comes Thursday, January 28, when Crown Shy’s Executive Chef James Kent shows participants how to make their signature Crown Bird Dinner: Kent’s acclaimed habanero- and citrus-marinated chicken with dipping sauces.

Hosted by award-winning chef Rocco DiSpirito, “Dine Around Downtown” zooms into the kitchens of Lower Manhattan where chefs share recipes and tips on everything from complex gastronomic delights to go-to comfort foods. It’s free to sign up and participate, and any donations go to a good cause — either directly to the restaurant’s employee-relief funds or to a food-security charity of the restaurant’s choice.
Register now to learn how to make this scrumptious Crown Shy feast.
The series launched last summer with America’s first restaurant Delmonico’s, followed by a number of dining rooms including Gnoccheria, Taïm, Temple Court and Benares. All previous episodes are available on YouTube.Tags: crown shy, dine around downtown
