Date Night Idea: La Noxe

Date Night Idea: La Noxe

November 5, 2025

The romantic options are limitless in Lower Manhattan, whether you’re planning a regular night out or have something extra special on the docket. But if you’re still in need of a local date night idea, La Noxe (111 Broadway) is just the ticket.

This sleek and sexy lounge made its downtown debut earlier this year, bringing with it the same good drinks, vibes and bites you’d find at its Chelsea flagship. And the spot’s still got it, especially if you’re there for some facetime with a hot date — moody lighting, sultry interiors and a spookily good view of the Trinity Church set a dreamy, intimate tone sure to send sparks flying between you and your special someone.

Toast to the two of you with drinks like More Passion, More Problems (vodka, lemon, passion fruit liqueur) and the Evening Gentleman (rosaluna mezcal, lime, honey, pimento, jalapeno); if your date gets hungry, shareable plates like beef tartare and chickpea hummus with za’atar flatbread are tasty and present an opportunity to “accidentally” touch hands. When you’re not staring into each other’s eyes, the late-night crowd’s fun for fancy people-watching (or you can look out the windows and scope out the graveyard for specters). And if you plan your date for a Tuesday, you two can catch live jazz courtesy of the Hans Luchs Trio from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. — it’s a great way to get in dinner, drinks and a show.
