Breakfast food in the afternoon, day-drinking downtown, a guarantee that you’ll be back on your couch before dark…what’s not to love? In a stroke of luck, Lower Manhattan just gained one more brunch option with a new weekend offering at Lucky Tiger (66 Pearl St.). For $35, you can get bottomless brunch cocktails for 90 minutes with the purchase of a brunch entree on weekends from noon to 4 p.m.
The new daytime dishes offered feature the inventive Asian fusion flavors the Pearl Street spot is known for, including Thai tea French toast; a delicious kimchi bacon, egg and cheese fried rice and a crispy shrimp tempura benedict. Pair your meal with a classic mimosa, Aperol spritz, Makrut margarita or Green Line Tea, which is made of Michter’s Sour Mash, peach, green tea and soda (think green tea shot, but boujee). Decisions are tough, but not to worry, because you can switch up your drink order throughout. Which means it’s not really a question of if but when you and your crew want more bites with your bottomless drinks, so it’s good news that there’s also a small plates menu with dishes like garlic gochujang karaage and cucumber salad to share.
At a place like Lucky Tiger, where the food is filling, drinks are flowing and vibes are good, what more could you ask for? 90 minutes is enough time to try a couple dishes and drinks, but chances are you’ll want to come back for weekday happy hour (or stay for dinner).
