A Big Thanks to Everyone Who Came to Last Week’s Lunch Box

Thank you to everyone who helped make last week’s Lunch Box a success! There were thousands of attendees at 28 Liberty’s Fosun Plaza on Tuesday, October 10, enjoying delicious meals from some of Lower Manhattan’s newest restaurants and taking in the crisp fall weather. 

This year’s Lunch Box was the second annual pop-up food fair presented by the Alliance’s Dine Around Downtown team, with offerings from 10 local restaurants: BioPoke, Boss Tweeds, Cebichelsea, Dim Sum Palace, Havana Social, Henry’s Sandwich, MCM Coffee, Mughlai Indian Cuisine, Poulette Rotisserie and Sammy’s Taqueria. Each restaurant prepared a $10 boxed lunch featuring one entree and two sides, giving attendees the opportunity to sample discounted dishes from eateries that opened downtown in the last year or so.
