That chill in the air tells no lies: Fall is officially here. There are lots of wonderful things about New York’s most romantic season — sweaters, flavored lattes, cozy evenings at an equally cozy bar — but one of the best autumn traditions in our neck of the woods is the Lunch Box pop-up food fair, taking place this year on October 7.
Head to Fosun Plaza from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to snag $10 lunch boxes from some of downtown’s newest restaurants, including buzzy additions to the neighborhood like Sadie’s, Sam Ping’s Chinese BBQ and Tacos del Barrio. Each lunch box contains a tasty protein with two sides, so you’ll get a full meal for a steal…and if you feel like grabbing an extra one or two for second lunch or dinner, we promise we won’t judge.
