No More Vacation Days? Let Lunch Box Take Your Tastebuds on a Globetrotting Journey

With the days shortening and the weather slightly cooling, we’re starting to feel a little wistful for the travel-heavy days of summer. Not to worry — head to 28 Liberty’s Fosun Plaza on Tuesday, October 10 for Lunch Box, our annual lunchtime pop-up food fair, and you’ll be able to take a culinary trip around the world for way, way less than a plane ticket.

From 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., you’ll find 10 of Lower Manhattan’s newest restaurants serving up $10 boxed lunches (each comprising one main and two sides) that cover the globe. Want to take a trip to Cuba? Havana Social’s got you covered. Yearning for a South American journey? You’ll find Uruguayan bites from MCM Coffee and Peruvian grub courtesy Cebichelsea. Sample Hawai’ian fare from BioPoke, authentic Cantonese food from Dim Sum Palace, and tasty Vietnamese bánh mì from Henry’s Sandwich. You can find more cuisines, participating restaurants and menu items on our website.

No need to renew your passport for this trip; the event is open to the public and free to attend.
