Mother’s Day Downtown: Where to Celebrate Mom in Lower Manhattan

Not that moms don’t deserve love and appreciation every day, but with their extra-special Hallmark holiday coming up this weekend, it’s time to start making some plans. This year, celebrate Mom in the best way possible — with an elegant Sunday brunch in Lower Manhattan. And considering all the delectable options Downtown, a tasty meal out here is a gift for her and you. Here’s where to go.  

Nobu Downtown 

Nobu’s $90-per-person feast includes yellowtail jalapeno sashimi, the Nobu taco with salmon  and edamame choclowith, among other deliciousness. Make a reservation through the restaurant. Brunch service is 11:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Harry’s Beef Wellington Package To-Go

Harry’s has your three-course brunch ready to go with lobster  salad, beef wellington (with truffled potato hash) and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Serves four. Order at 212-785-9200.

Temple Court’s Prix Fixe  

Temple Court at the Beekman is offering a three-course Mother’s Day brunch menu, running $75 per person. Expect the Tom Colicchio kitchen to serve up all the brunch classics, savory signatures and essential desserts; also live music from The Jazz Bazaar. Brunch runs from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., and you can make a reservation online.
