The New York Marriott Downtown Is Open And Ready For Your Staycation

After months of closure, the New York Marriott Downtown is open to guests. Located at 85 West Street, the hotel is just a few blocks from the soon-to-reopen 9/11 Memorial & Museum and close to a slew of transportation options, including the NYC Ferry at Wall Street and the Fulton Center hub. It’s a great option if you’ve got family and friends (safely) visiting the city, but it’s also a nice spot to keep in mind for a staycation or even a luxe remote office, if your apartment walls are starting to close in.

To keep guests safe and healthy, Marriott has implemented a number of COVID-19 mitigation updates in all of their hotels, which include

—partitions at front desks and food/beverage service lines

—a mobile check-in and key using their mobile app

—increased cleaning and disinfection, particularly in public areas

—housekeeping services only at your request, so you can avoid contact during your stay

Masks are of course required in the hotel’s public spaces.

Rates start as low as $140 per night — a steal in this fancy hotel-laden city — and reach out about their parking -included package if you want to stay off public transit.
