Good news for fans of hidden gems and longstanding municipal secrets — Open House New York weekend hits the city from October 16 to October 18, giving you access to special tours, events and a look behind the scenes at some of New York’s most iconic places. This year, you can check out over 300 destinations across the city, with more than a dozen buildings, museums, studios and monuments opening their doors in Lower Manhattan.

Some locations require tickets, which are just $7 and can be reserved beginning on October 2 at 12 p.m. Others offer free drop-in hours, no reservation needed. To kick off the weekend of events, tickets are already on sale for the official launch party at the Woolworth Building on October 15 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
