Party All the Time: Pier 17 Plans to Host Concerts Year-Round

Pier 17’s summer concert series is one of downtown’s best seasonal offerings — and in the new year, you’ll be able to rock out on the roof even longer. Starting in late 2025, the Rooftop at Pier 17 will be offering concerts through the winter, thanks to a custom-designed glass structure that’ll enclose the stage and keep attendees toasty even when the temps drop below freezing.

The winter venue will be able to fit up to 3,000 fans in its space (full outdoor capacity is 3,500) and will include a special VIP balcony level. The glass enclosure will be removed during the summer series, which currently runs from May to October.

The Pier 17 rooftop concert series, backdropped by spectacular views of the Brooklyn Bridge and city skyline, is always a summer hit, with past performances including Carly Rae Jepsen, Modest Mouse, Elvis Costello and more. We’re looking forward to catching some sweet sounds all year long!
