Thank You to Everyone Who Came to Our Plant Giveaway

The Alliance’s annual adopt-a-plant extravaganza was a huge success! After digging up 800 geraniums at Bowling Green, we gave ‘em all away until 90 minutes — a big thank you to everyone who took a plant home with them, and to our Alliance team members who started digging the geraniums out at 6 a.m. so they could begin their journey to your windowsills. 

And fear not, Bowling Green will not be left bare. Starting tomorrow, the Alliance will plant fall mums to take the geraniums’ place, so your park strolls and lunch sits by the fountain will remain colorful as ever. Peruse our photos of the event, and remember to water your plants!
