There are so many great reasons to visit the Tin Building: the excellent restaurants, the Instagrammable shops and the “And Just Like That” cameos, just to name a few. And if you’re a candy fiend, Spoiled Parrot is yet another draw.
Named after a Rumi poem (“I am a spoiled parrot who eats only candy. I have no interest in bitter food,”) and somewhat hidden in a corner of the main floor (look for the lollipop archway), this tiny candy shop packs a whole lotta sweets and Willy Wonka vibes in a small space. And it’s gorgeous to boot — the design team behind Spoiled Parrot wanted the space to remind shoppers of childhood candy stores, full of bright light, color and abundance. Inside, you’ll find tons of different varieties of chocolate marked by flavor notes and cocoa varieties, along with sour, gummy and fruity candy and other delicious tooth-tingling delicacies. There’s even a gelato counter for ice cream fiends.
Indeed, Spoiled Parrot is a great spot for gifts, treats, browsing or all of the above. Be sure to stop by next time you’re at the Seaport!
