Ferry Good News: You Can Soon Order Dunkin’ on the Staten Island Ferry
Lower Manhattan — specifically the Staten Island Ferry — runs on Dunkin’. Or at least it will soon, according to a post on X from the NYC DOT. That’s right: starting sometime in the next two months, you’ll be able to channel your inner Ben Affleck by drinking an iced coffee and staring off into the distance during NYC’s most underrated commute.
The coffee and donuts chain will make its maritime debut on the SSG Michael H. Ollis and Dorothy Day ferries to start, with rollouts on the others expected to follow. This is big news for multiple delicious reasons, notably that it marks the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic that the commuter ferry will resume selling concessions. Word on the street is that Dunkin’ is also seeking permits to sell beer to pair with the free 25 minute ride.
Catch the Staten Island Ferry from the Whitehall Terminal (4 Whitehall St.) in Lower Manhattan, and catch Dunkin’ at over a dozen locations downtown.
