Sample Dozens of Lower Manhattan Restaurants at Taste of the Seaport

If you’re hungry for some downtown noshes (and when are you not?), then Saturday, October 15, should be calling your name: In a five-hour setting, the 12th annual Taste of the Seaport should deliver more neighborhood eats than you could possibly desire.

Seriously, there are so many places that are slated to serve up bite-size portions of their most popular dishes. So, say your date eats all the fully-loaded nachos and you’re mostly getting, like, jusssst chips with nothin’ on ’em? Not to worry: Expect a seemingly never-ending array of items from Jean-Georges’s The Fulton (“the sexiest menu in New York City”), Cafe Patoro (their pao de queijo might become the next bagel), the healthy heartiness from Chinah, legendary pizzeria Di Fara (**Italian chef’s kiss**) and extremely delish numbers from Industry Kitchen. The roster is bigger than ever!

Admission is free; purchase Taste tickets online or at the event. Sponsored by the Howard Hughes Corporation, Taste of the Seaport runs from noon to 5 p.m. All funds support programs at the local public schools, PS 397 Spruce Street School and PS 343 Peck Slip School.
