Taste of the Seaport is Back for Another Year of Celebrating Downtown’s Flavors

After getting rained out back in September, Taste of the Seaport is finally ready to showcase the best of Lower Manhattan’s culinary scene. The open-air festival will take place on Saturday, November 11 from noon to 4 p.m. at Piers 16 and 17, where many of the neighborhood’s top restaurants (Kesté, Il Brigante, Selene and Taïm, to name a few,) will be serving up bite-size portions of their most popular dishes.
Entry to the festival is free — just buy a “taste card” online or at the event in order to enjoy the food (discounts are available for students!). Don’t worry if you purchased tickets for the postponed date back in September — they’ll still be valid on November 11. Taste of the Seaport is sponsored by the Howard Hughes Corporation and the Seaport Museum. This year, Kidzone will be offering fun activities for young foodies. And all funds raised on the day support programs at two local public schools: PS 397 Spruce Street School and PS 343 Peck Slip School. Happy eating!
