Here’s Your Chance to Help Feed New Yorkers With Trinity Church

Times are tough for many people in New York City right now, but one opportunity to help out is finally coming back. Trinity Church is looking for volunteers to help feed hundreds of people each week.

Starting April 25, volunteers can pack and distribute bags of food for lunch, breakfast and dinner to feed fellow New Yorkers. No experience is necessary, and any help is always needed: The Food Bank for New York City says that 12.9% of New Yorkers experience food insecurity; about 1.1 million people, which is 12% higher than the national rate.

To get involved, look at the full schedule and sign up here. The church encourages you to start the process now since the process can take up to a few weeks.
