"In today's reality, nonprofits play a critical role from driving social change and awareness, to advocating for those most in need.  As a nonprofit ourselves, we work to help build a supportive network for the growing nonprofit community in Lower Manhattan and this Bright Ideas grant helps make that possible," said Daria Siegel, Director of LMHQ. "We thank Con Edison for their continued and generous support."
"Lower Manhattan is home to over 600 nonprofits and more are relocating here everyday," said Downtown Alliance President Jessica Lappin. "At its core, LMHQ is a hub for our local professional community and the Bright Ideas grant by Con Edison allows us to ensure we are offering the most inclusive programs to meet the needs of all of our neighbors."
"Con Edison is committed to investing in local nonprofits to help them provide more to the people they serve," said Frances A. Resheske, Senior Vice President for Con Edison. "By offering event space at no cost to qualified nonprofits, the Bright Ideas grant helps defray costs and increase focus on their core mission."
LMHQ's Gensler-designed space at 150 Broadway is 12,500 square feet and offers individual and company memberships, drop-in opportunities for visitors, and regular public programming across disciplines. LMHQ also extends a 25 percent year-round discount to nonprofits on all meeting room and event bookings.
