10 Lower Manhattan Restaurants Coming to Lunch Box Food Fair on October 13 at 28 Liberty’s Fosun Plaza

On Thursday, October 13, the Alliance for Downtown New York, the nonprofit business improvement district for Lower Manhattan, will debut Lunch Box: a pop-up food fair from the team behind Dine Around Downtown, at 28 Liberty’s Fosun Plaza from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The open-air festival will convene 10 local restaurants, all of which have opened in Lower Manhattan within the past year, to offer $10 boxed lunches that include one main dish and two sides. “Lunch Box is a great way to check out what’s new in the neighborhood,” said Downtown Alliance President Jessica Lappin. “Not only do attendees get a great deal on delicious food, but the event also helps us welcome these newer local neighborhood businesses.”
“We welcome the Lower Manhattan community and local vendors to Fosun Plaza for this exciting new event in partnership with the Downtown Alliance,” said Thomas Costanzo, global partner of Fosun and CEO of Four Trees Asset Management. “It is our mission to bring the community together with ongoing cultural events.”
As part of the Alliance’s ongoing commitment to a sustainable Lower Manhattan, Lunch Box will be a zero-waste event. Composting and recycling stations will be located throughout the plaza.
