Help ADNY Keep Lower Manhattan Blooming!

If the requests we get looking for volunteer opportunities are any indication, the downtown community loves to give back. And we’re answering your calls — this year, the Downtown Alliance will host at least four volunteer events to help keep our public spaces looking their best. The Alliance provides supplemental landscaping services at Bowling Green, Mannahatta Park and Elizabeth H. Berger Plaza, and maintains over 100 DOT planters by Bowling Green, Albany Plaza, Gouverneur Lane, the NYSE security zone and other locations throughout the district, as well as 23 rectangular planters along Greenwich Street and light pole baskets along Broadway and Nassau Street. Chances are, if you see something green downtown, the Alliance is involved. And now is your opportunity to be part of beautifying Lower Manhattan.

If you’d like to help us with planting, removing old plants, applying compost and soil and general park maintenance (like raking, sweeping and cleanups), please sign up below to be added to our volunteer list. If getting in the dirt isn’t your thing, but you’d like to be kept updated on other types of volunteer opportunities that may arise in the future, let us know! While we have limited space at our events, we will do our best to accommodate as many people as possible. If you live or work downtown, we’d love to hear from you.
