The Downtown Alliance works closely with the New York City Police Department (NYPD) – so closely, in fact, that our own public safety officers share a substation with the police that is open around-the-clock. Our public safety officers are also on duty at all times and can be reached at our 24-hour hotline. For any public safety or sanitation concerns, please call, fax or email us, or stop in for a visit.

The Downtown Alliance and its Construction Mitigation unit are working closely with public agencies and private developers to keep Lower Manhattan "open for business" during the rebuilding process.
