Take it from MomTok: dirty sodas are the hottest beverage right now. People can’t get enough of the viral sensation — a refreshing combo of soda, syrup and creamer — and in Lower Manhattan, we’re lucky to have Cool Sips, one of the best dirty soda spots in town.
Next time you have a hankering for a sweet treat (like, right now), head over to Pier 16 at the Seaport, where you’ll find a breezy surf shack mixing up all sorts of bubbly delights. Opt for a Signature Sip, a decadent Stuffed Sip or make your own concoction, with everything from sodas to syrups to tapioca bubbles at your disposal.
On a recent trip, we opted for a Dirty Dirty (Dr. Pepper, coconut, lime and half-and-half), a Montauk (Dr. Pepper, mint and vanilla cream), an LBI (root beer, caramel, vanilla cream and brown butter boba), and a fruity make-your-own creation that came packed with flavor and tapioca pearls. Did our teeth hurt for the rest of the day? Sure, but sometimes you have to make sacrifices in the name of flavor.
Peruse Cool Sips’ menu here, and stop by the shack for a summery soda the next time the weather gets steamy. So, like, tomorrow.
