Now Is the Time to Grab Tickets to ‘The Visitors’ at PAC NYC

January 20, 2026

PAC NYC’s newest production is kicking off this month, and you have just a few weeks to catch it. “The Visitors,” written by Muruwari playwright Jane Harrison and directed by Quandamooka man Wesley Enoch, premiered in Sydney in 2020 to much fanfare. The play won the Sydney Critics Award for Best New Australian Work the following year as well as the 2023 Sydney Theatre Awards for Best Mainstage Production and Best Ensemble. In its first international production, it’ll run at PAC NYC from January 21 until February 1.

The play follows the experiences of a group of Aboriginal leaders in January 1788 as the “First Fleet” (the 11 British ships that eventually established Australia’s first European colony) approaches their shores. Co-produced by First Nations company Moogahlin Performing Arts and Sydney Theatre Company, the production is a gripping look at one of the most significant and controversial days in Australian history.

Tickets are available for purchase on PAC NYC’s website. Grab them now — you don’t want to miss this limited run.
