Josh says they’ve got some of the best banh mi in the city, and these babies are BIG. Bonus points if you feast on your sandwich by the water. 

Ruben’s Empanadas (77 Pearl Street)

As the name suggests, this Argentinian eatery offers up fresh, cheap and tasty empanadas from an unassuming storefront.  

Vanessa’s Dumpling House (City Acres Market, 70 Pine Street)

Tucked in the back of this food market is a Vanessa’s outpost that serves up heavenly sesame pancake sandwiches, along with steamed, fried and boiled dumplings. 

Kati Roll Company (22 Maiden Lane)

This Indian street food shop offers tantalizing hot and fresh kati rolls filled with a wide variety of meats, cheeses and veggies.
