A Handy Guide For An International Food Tour Right Here In Lower Manhattan

Josh Katz, our Explorer In Chief, recently took some friends along this delicious route. Follow in their footsteps with this map right here, and check out the following stops below in case you blinked and missed any of ‘em in this appetizing video

Banh Mi Cart (Hanover Square)

Josh says they’ve got some of the best banh mi in the city, and these babies are BIG. Bonus points if you feast on your sandwich by the water.

Ruben’s Empanadas (77 Pearl Street)

As the name suggests, this Argentinian eatery offers up fresh, cheap and tasty empanadas from an unassuming storefront.

Vanessa’s Dumpling House (City Acres Market, 70 Pine Street)

Tucked in the back of this food market is a Vanessa’s outpost that serves up heavenly sesame pancake sandwiches, along with steamed, fried and boiled dumplings.

Kati Roll Company (22 Maiden Lane)

This Indian street food shop offers tantalizing hot and fresh kati rolls filled with a wide variety of meats, cheeses and veggies.

Takahachi Bakery (25 Murray Street)

Cap off your tour with a Japanese sweet or two from Takahashi Bakery, where you can score matcha and red bean flavored and filled pastries, in addition to Euro-style treats.
