There will be moments to write poetry, recite poetry, and enjoy the summer with new friends. The afternoon will begin upstairs in the library; we’ll discover fragments of queer verse in the Poets House stacks and stitch them together into centos. Then, we’ll turn to a selection of writing prompts collated in a printed chapbook, and offer some time for generative writing. We’ll close with a casual, celebratory reading in Kray Hall (participation is optional) and time to meet fellow writers.
