  • NYC Summer Streets

    Many blocks of car-free fun, fitness, and live entertainment as the city’s streets transform into playgrounds for all to enjoy. In Lower Manhattan, Lafayette Street and Centre Street will be closed, and Foley Square will be an entertainment hub with a DJ, marching band performance at noon, volleyball and other activities, including free bike rentals.

  • Drawing in the Park

    Paint in watercolor or use pastels and other drawing materials to capture the magical vistas of the Hudson River and the unique landscape of South Cove. An artist/educator will help participants of all levels with instruction and critique. Materials provided, and artists are encouraged to bring their own favorite media.

This year’s theme, ​‘What’s Under the Sur­face,’ is revealed through show­case exhi­bi­tions, per­for­mances, free work­shops span­ning dis­ci­plines from wood­work­ing to music pro­duc­tion, tex­tile arts, film­mak­ing, ani­ma­tion and more!
