Trinity ChurchIllustrating the dramatic range of the new pipe organ, Trinity organist Avi Stein and organ scholar Alex Leonardi will perform Louis Vierne’s stunningly grandiose Messe solennelle — a piece that explores the depths of the organ’s colors and sonic possibilities — in concert with Trinity Choir. The evening’s tour of the rich legacy of French music will also feature the work of three of Vierne’s preeminent pupils: Nadia Boulanger, her younger sister Lili Boulanger, and Marcel Dupré.
