This Is No Time To Stop Drinking Cocktails From Your Fave Lower Manhattan Restaurants

Never before has ordering a cocktail been such an act of goodwill. That’s because New York City’s restaurant industry is facing massive uncertainty during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Establishments operating in this trying moment are turning to takeout and delivery to help make ends meet during the pandemic. Governor Cuomo has (temporarily) green-lit a policy of ordering alcohol to go. So, why not take advantage of it?

Here are just a few of the Lower Manhattan restaurants that are offering to pack up your gimlet, margarita, glass of pinot or what-have-you, with your takeout and delivery orders.

So, add something like a dry martini (with gin, obviously, because that’s what’s always right and good, but vodka if you absolutely insist) to your order. Not only will sipping on a freshly stirred concoction help mimic the pleasure of dining out, it will also help boost profits for your favorite haunts, which is especially meaningful right now. They have staff to support and a future to consider.
