Soak In The Spring Sun And A History Lesson With A Day Trip To Ellis Island

With the weather finally consistently warming up (fingers crossed!), we’ve got the perfect conditions outside for a ferry ride. Make Ellis Island your destination and knock out a day trip and history lesson in one.

You can purchase round-trip tickets through Statue Cruises (and Statue Cruises only!). Ferries depart daily from Battery Park and make stops at both Ellis and Liberty Islands. Once you’re on the island, pick up a complimentary audio tour to guide your visit. Entry to Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration and the Statue of Liberty Museum are also included with your ticket.

Covid-19 safety measures are of course in effect, with masks and physical distancing required on the ferry and site grounds, and facilities regularly sanitized, per National Parks Service guidelines.

Mask up, get onboard and please give Lady Liberty our best.
