Chinatown Businesses Are Awesome And You Should Support Them

Real New Yorkers support other neighborhoods. It’s not only the right thing to do, but it also gets you out of your routine city life that — save the back-and-forth commute to the salt mines — often stays within an eight-block radius (also very much a real New York thing).

We recommend you show some love to our friends just a few blocks north in Chinatown. This weekend, if you go there to support their local businesses and make a purchase of $10 or more, be sure to bring your receipt to the kiosk (from 10a–5p) on 101 Baxter Street. There you can enter a giveaway to win a number of prizes, including that of an iPhone X.

The raffle runs until Sunday, March 15. See the following map to get a geographical sense at where all the participating stores for shopping and dining are. Seriously, there’s no shame at consulting that map — especially if you seldom leave your own neighborhood.
