Fulton Stall Market’s Winter Farm Share Will Fill Up Your Pantry All Season
Lest you thought you’d be swapping out fresh produce for hot toddies all winter, Fulton Stall Market has a winter CSA going through the end of the season that’ll keep your fridge, cabinets and bellies well-stocked. Not that you have to skip the hot toddies.
Starting January 4 and running through March 21, you can choose from among 16 share options offering local goods like winter vegetables, cheeses, breads, fresh pasta, meats, seafoods and heat-and-serve prepared foods. The majority of farms participating in the CSA come from the tri-state area, so you’ll be helping out local businesses in addition to netting tasty seasonal delicacies.
CSA options include: apples from New York’s Breezy Hill Orchard, water buffalo beef from Riverine Ranch in New Jersey, sprouts from Brooklyn’s Union Square Grassman, farmstead cheeses from a rotating selection of local farms, charcuterie from Walnut Hill Farm in Vermont, and trout and lox from Hudson Valley Fisheries, also in New York.
Sign up by today (January 2) for a full-season subscription, or sign up anytime until March 21 at a prorated discount. Sign-ups, prices and pickup times are all online.
