PARM Ice Cream Cake

Are you a fan of old school red sauce and Italian classics?  Mario Carbone and Rich Torrisi have brought Little Italy to Lower Manhattan with the opening of their popular eatery, Parm in Brookfield Place.

The menu features sandwiches, starters, salads, pastas and entrees. We loved the traditional chicken parm and mozz sticks. Have a sweet tooth? Go for the ice cream cakes. These delectable cakes, which serve up to 14 people, have names like Elvis, Grasshopper, Turtle and Firecracker.

The space occupies an L-shaped corner with two areas, featuring tin ceilings, vintage wallpaper and oldies music. In the first room, you’ll find the bar, high-top tables and a take-out counter. Go around the corner for the  tables and booths. The restaurant is sure to be a fan-favorite for both the denizens of the nearby office towers and local families in Battery Park City.
